How to Rebuild Scene files using pyReScene

 Download

pyReScene-0.7-w32.zip

https://github.com/srrDB/pyrescene/releases/download/0.7/pyReScene-0.7-w32.zip

Download

srrGUI v1.3 - 9 June 2020

http://rescene.wdfiles.com/local--files/downloads/srrgui-1.3.zip

Extract Both Zip folders

Move srrGUI.exe in to pyReScene-0.7-w32 Folder

Like so.

Search for the srr file you want to rescene on

click on the blue link to download

its good to keep all the srr files in one folder (i have downloaded every AEROHOLiCS SRR)

Open srrGUI.exe

choose Option [2]

Then "SRR file Path.." Navigate to your srr file

"input DIR Path..."

is the location of the .mkv .iso file you want to repack in to scene files

I suggest make a new Folder and place the file you want to rebuild in to there the name shouldn't matter, a .nfo file will be generated from the srr file and you can get the correct name of the file from the .nfo

"Output Dir Path..."

Leave Blank

Tick The BOX

"Create directory from SRR file name."

"*RAR EXE Dir Path..."

Navigate to your installed directory of Winrar

"Temp Files Dir Path..."

any directory will do i use the same directory as pyRescene-0.7-w32

once that is all done your GUI should look somthing like this..

Now Click the button

"Run Process"

All the .rar files will be generated

the .nfo will be generated

.sfv will be generated

Sample file will be built and placed in to the sample folder (.isos don't generate a sample file)

NOTES:

Sometimes a sample file will not be generated

if you don't have the subs or covers with the file you want to repack empty .rar files will be generated.

if you get a error that means the crc checksum is different from the original file.
